Not such a bad world after all ...

Since late September we've been fundraising for Ronald McDonald House in Alder Hey, its a god send of a place when you're having to be so far from home and your little one is in hospital.

It all began with a fundraising night with local rock bands. One of which being my nephew Kris is band Nemesia. They even got their pic in the local paper lol! Apart from the headlining band pulling out the day before the gig we made over £600 on the door, thanks to fans, friends and family.

Since the article in the paper though two local artists from the village, one an amateur and the other a proffesional have donated a couple of their paintings. One for raffle who's made a £100 and the other at auction has gone for £200. The generosity of people has been amazing, I can't believe it sometimes. I don't even know how to thank these people.

Total raised at the moment is £1055.00, its more than we ever expected.
