Long time no blog!

I keep promising myself that I will make much more effort to blog but for some reason I never do and I should really!!

There has been lots of changes since the last time I blogged too!

I guess the 1st major news is that the house is on the market and we're on the move to the back of beyond with not many neighbours! I CAN'T WAIT! My poor old granny passed away in May so we're going to move into her farm house it needs a lot of work done but we've started slowly! Been a couple of viewings on this place but there is no great rush as there is so much to do on the other place and we never seem to have much time to actually get there! Not easy with two little monkeys under your feet either! Hopefully the property market will have more takers at the start of next year and we can really get cracking by then! Hmm I have already taken my Christmas tree and decorations there though ... lol looks like they will be coming back!

Embo has started ysgol feithrin, we decided that as we're moving that we would start him off at the school he'd go to after he moved rather than having to go through the trauma of moving schools, he is such a deep little thing that its hard to tell what effect it would have had on him. Its a bit of a trek every morning but at least its in only temporary! He is finding it quite hard to keep up with his little mates and he has deteriorated quite a bit recently I feel. Mopes about with his thumb in his mouth all day love him. His sats have dropped to the low 90's too they have been high 90's since the band was fitted.

Emyr had his 4th Birthday at the beginning of the month! Where the years have gone I don't know. Had a little party with his preschool mates - very cute! Very glad that I hired a hall and didn't do it at home though!!! Mari had a tumble at home after the party and managed to split her lip bless her it was pretty gruesome, reckon it may well scar as well bless her. Had to take her to two hospitals for them to tell us it didn't need stitching! Hasn't stopped her being such a monkey mind!

We've also had some kind of news from Alder Hey that they hope to get the op done soon. Before Christmas, I don't know guess we'll just have to wait and see! I have done most of the Christmas shopping just in case we're stuck there for weeks though (hopefully not tempting fate either), most of it is wrapped and ready as well! I'm quite impressed with myself!!!

Right I guess I have moidered on quite a bit and will shut up now! I am going to try and do some more of this thing lol xx

Clever Girl!

I was taking Mari down stairs today and I started counting as I occasionally do.

"Un ..." says me

"Dau ..." says Mari totally unexpected, out of the blue rofl! She will also repeat 3 if you tell her thats what comes next! Yay she can count!!!

Annoying thing is that she can crawl up the stairs!! Rob left the downstairs stairgate open when taking Embo to bed, next thing Mari was racing along through the door so I decided to go after her and see where she went. She started climbing the stairs and made it all the way to the top with no help (I was of course behind her all the way). God help me with this one methinks!

Whoops!

I seem to have neglected this again haven't I! Although I'm not sure it gets read really anyway so it doesn't make much difference lol!

Since the last time I blogged Mari has had her 1st birthday awww, bless her. I couldn't get the actual day off work so had to settle for the day after when we took them both out to a butterfly palace which they seemed to enjoy. I don't know where the past year has gone mind its like she's been here forever, she's a little treasure.

Embo had a cardiac appointment on Friday, an unexpected one at that, his sats seem to be gradually coming down but not majorly, consultant seems to think that he should have had the op by now. He is mostly ok compared to a lot of the littlies that suffer from these hideous conditions, I know we've had it lucky that he's been so well I guess thats what makes it harder to see him lying around all day moaning he's tired. He's only been to nursery once since christmas as he can't cope with it. I feel he's missing out on so much. We shall see anyway, he said he'd give Alder Hey a nudge to see what's going on. Wants to see him again in 3 months and hopes he'll have been done by then (I'm not holding my breath, from what I gather about the surgical lists that is highly unlikely!)

They've finally found someone to help me at work! He's been there a week but is off on a preplanned course next week which has nothing whatsoever to do with our job but hey ho we'll cope once more I'm sure, not like we've got used to having the extra pair of hands yet is it!

Right I think I've moidered on for long enough! Best make these 2 some lunch!

Sort out and week off!!!

Had a lovely week off work last week! It was so nice not having to go in and put up with all the walking hormones and the office politics! Didn't really do much apart from sort out three + years of Emyr's old clothes and nearly a year of Mari's! Am trying to change the spare bedroom in Mari's room! It seems to have been a dumping ground for all sorts from the time we moved!! I'm getting there though, most of the clothes are done. Just need to move some stuff into the attic bedroom, needs a fresh coat of paint, new blind and curtains and we should be away! Bless her.

Can't believe she's 1 on Wednesday! Where has the year gone ... xxx

YAY

I have a week off work yipee, hopefully after a week away from there I will be less tired and actually have something to say that isn't moaning for once lol!

Another Sunday ...

Nothing exciting to report this week really! Am glad I've only got a week left before half term as I'm tired and I really hope that they sort out someone to fill the empty post! Embo had his sats checked on Monday and they were 95 so looks like we're safe for a while again anyway bless him! Just wish he'd take a nap in the afternoon and stay in bed when he's put there at night as he's started faffing for about an hour and jumping in and out so he's permanently shattered bless him!

Right I'm off to order some banners for a certain young lady's first birthday!

Miserable Moo

Feeling a bit of a grumpy old moo today! Nothing major just life's little complaints. I shouldn't complain really! Can always dream of a lottery win and a miracle I suppose lol

Got to keep smiling! Will post when I'm in a better mood!
